I've heard from a friend that Pidgin is good, but I really haven't tried it out. Maybe I'll download it some time.

I think there aren't any new updates for Yahoo messenger in Linux. Pidgin works fine, but lacks voice and video support.

nice share babon. i've been searching for such a messenger. software companies really never think about linuxians.i think linux community should have a developer org to create a linux version of every popular and necessary windows app.

I also tried downloading it. But its for an older kernal, so I can't satisfy the dependencies needed to install it. Also, there aren't any new versions available...

oftware companies really never think about linuxians.i think linux community should have a developer org to create a linux version of every popular and necessary windows app.
I also think so, but the developers have restrictions... They made the text chatting feature, but to connect to the server of companies for audio and video sharing, they might need some authentication.... I think so..
