I'm not sure exactly why you wouldn't see that - make sure you're in a Windows Explorer window, because that's the only program that has "Folder Options" in the Tools menu. If it's still not there, "Folder Options" is always located in the Control Panel.

    hi naives

you have been affected by a virus
    virus named: W32.Rontokbro@mm
This virus make the folder options dissapear.

you can deal with this by using the removal tool

    http://www.bitdefender.com/VIRUS-157...ntok.A@mm.html

    Hope this helps you

All the best naives, try to scan any removable media like memory sticks, bluetooth devices or any CD or floppy used with your computer

it comes through the pen drives or memory sticks from other computers.

    All the best man

    Have a great day!

What do you mean by that?

It happens to my friends often and there are small tools useful to get rid of that. A similar one is the open with problem for disk drives. I think there aren't any option in Windows to remove this. If there is, it will be really helpful.
