I'm hearing about Windows 7 and frankly, it's annoying me. What is the advantage? I needed a computer last year and so I bought the one with the newest operating system. Vista. Now, of course, Microsoft comes out with 7 and its ticking me off. What are the differences?
I asked a friend and she told me Vista was for people who didn't know any better and who were beginner computer users. I'm 27 and thank you, I've been using them since I was 6 years old. She then proceeded to tell me that for gamers you can't go online and interact at the same time you're in the game. Now, I really don't care. I'm not a gamer. I like them, don't use them. I asked her for a better example and she said she couldn't think of anything else.
Yes, she did piss me off. She felt that because she was a gamer, she was an advanced computer user. Yeah. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Now, I primarily write, watch videos, listen to music, burn my stories to a disc, save pics, but forget all of that. I can do that on any computer, this I know. I just want to have the latest, for my money operating system.
What are the advantages to Windows 7 over Vista? And in plain English, please! I know that I don't need it for what I do -AT THE MOMENT- but I again, want to be current if it's reasonable.
Am I the only Vista user that feels this way-that theres a new one and after I shelled out cash for Vista? (keep in mind that yes, I love what I'm using, but...)I hear there's a lot of problems with Vista-now I hear this garbage, so now I'm left with this feeling that Microsoft put out this inferior product knowing the many holes in it, and knowingly were going to make the world pay out for their new 7. I didn't have this feeling before, and love what I have with Vista. But after hearing about 7, like I said-I'm just left with this feeling...screwed over at my own expense. |
