coppermine gallery not allowing me to upload

hey,

i dont know reason but i am not able to upload images in my coppermine gallery.. it is howing error that permission denied then some php file and then line number...

so i tried to install zenphoto and got the same problem with that... all are able to connect to database but they are not able to upload any file... even i have tried by changing permission to 777 then also it is giving me the problem.. so can u please suggest me some solution of this problem ?

i just tested coppermine and installed the latest version on our demo account and I was able to upload without any problem.

please make sure that you are using the latest version and all your file permission settings are correct. make sure to change permission for "albums", "userpics" and "edit" folder to 777.

I recently installed Coppermine and found no problems with it. Must be a
local permissions thing.
