Default How to Get an FTP.

I know, for a fact, that some of you will think this post is stupid. But for the noobz, they will thank this post all they can, because today, I am going to tell you how to get an FTP program.

FTP program-A.K.A.- File Transfer Protocol. What the FTP basically does is that it just copy all your transfered files, and put it on your website. So if you instill a phpbb forum, you just simply copy all the files of the phpbb2 folder, and transfer it to the ftp program, it will take some time, but it is worth the time.

To get an FTP program:
Simply, go to: Google
And keyword "FTP Program" (Without the quotes)
Their, you will find like a billion results for FTP's. How do you choose the correct one? Well, simply, you find the one that has these keywords in it: "FREE" (If you do not want to pay for it" "FTP" must have this.
Then, after searching for the right one, just click the link, and download it!

The FTP program I use is Flashfxp, and can be downloadable at http://flashfxp.com
or
if you want smartftp, also is a good one, you go to
SmartFTP - FTP Client
Well, thats it. Since I'm too lazy now, I will post an "How to transfer files to your database" Cya!

I use Smartftp and it works great and is quick and easy to use although it always comes up with a prompt beforehand to say that it is a non-commercial version of the software.

Does flashfxp have this problem or not??

Just use your master username and password to login to ftp for everything.

Sub domains are listed under your normal www and http folders but the new folder has the name of your sub domain e.g. I have a subdomain testsite.wired.profusehost.net and the files are located under the www directory in the testsite folder.

Hope this helps.
