Default How to Install a Forum with hosting. (PHPBB)

Introduction: Hello,
In this tutorial, I'm going to teach the "new comers" on how to install a forum, or make a forum out of scratch. I do not mean by forums that are pre-made, i.e, www.freeforums.org, www.forumotion.com, www.phpbb3now.com, ect.
With installing a forum out of scratch, you have the power to edit ANYTHING on your forum. That includes editing the "rights" on the bottom of the forum. You can also add additional Modifications (MODS) to your forum, which means, you can add a "warning system" to your phpbb2 forum, or you can add some "styles" to your phpbb forum. For this tutorial, I'm going to use a phpbb2 forum.

What you will need (Everything you will need to make a phpbb2 forum:
*An FTP (File Transfer protocol program) program.
You will need this to upload your file to the Internet.
You can download it at: http://www.flashfxp.com or just go to google, and the keyword will be "FTP program" without the quotes.
* The PHPBB Package.
Can be downloaded at: http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/?sid=...292145af8123f6
*An Account for your database to be stored in/The files will go into that account.
To get an account, go to http://www.profusehost.net and just select your hosting plans. I prefer Post for host, because you get unlimited databases, which means you can make 500+ forums in one account.
----------------------

First, Go to http://profusehost.net
Then, scroll to the very bottom of the webpage, and on the second tab, which is Green, and says "Free Domain Hosting", click on more, and again, scroll to the very bottom. You will see: 3. Sign up for free domain hosting here - http://www.profusehost.net/services/index.htm
click on it, and choose a hosting plan. After, just fill in some information, and comfirm your registration by going to your e-mail, and clicking a link. Then, you must wait 24 to 48 hours for the account to be completed. After 24-48 hours of waiting, go to your e-mail, and you will receive an e-mail about your account data.

After, you download FlashFxp. (The FTP program)
Open up FlashFXP, and enter in your information.
Then, when you have entered your information correctly, it will take a few milliseconds to proceed, and you will be taken to the place to upload your files.
Download the phpbb2 forum folder. (www.phpbb.com at the download bar)
Then, once you have completed downloading the phpbb2 forum file, go on your flashfxp program, and click public_html, now make a new folder, naming anything you want. Note: Your folder name will be your name for your website. example: http://yourdomain.profusehost.net/(YOUR FOLDER NAME)
Then, click on your new folder you just made on the flashfxp, then just upload everything you see in the phpbb2 file. It will take about 5-10 minutes to complete the process, and after, you will need to go to your account on http://profusehost.net and login to your account, their, you will need to make a database for your forum. For every forum, you must have one database. Make a new database, and then go to http://yourdomainname.profusehost.net and click your new folder name. Their, you will be redirected to the INSTALLATION for your forum, just fill out the information you see, and enter in your database information. After that, it will take you to instructions, and then you have your own forum now!

To start adding/editing information on your information, or you want to add mods, go to: http://www.phpbb.com/community

To download some mods for your phpbb forum, go to: http://phpbbhacks.com

Well have fun!!
