Default How to show ads in Invision Board?

With this mod you can insert the Google AdSense code inside the first post.
This won't affect the content of the post, so if you edit the post you won't see the AdSense code and when you finish the edit you'll see it again...

I checked out the mod and you can only display regular ads. We utilize javascript to display ads instead of image banner links.

The mod that we have in the first post is suppose to show links in first post. This hides the ads from standing out and taking extra space. Also, it will not violate policies of our advertisers. You have to keep in mind that we have to abide by certain rules also and that's why all forum sites are required to display ads in this manner.

John, I checked the link referred by you and found this code. But what parameters do I write in place of "xxx" above which is appropriate for this hosting?

Thanks in advance.

I would also like to know if there is any mod or a manual way to insert ads in IPB 1.3 forums. This particular mod seems to be meant for IPB 2+. I have a forum on IPB 1.3 with 4500+ members elsewhere which I would like to bring here (I have a website hosted here) but only after I can become sure that I meet the Ad requirements fully.

I found a mod which works for IPB 1.3 at Invisionize.com - Viewing file "Add Google Adsense Ad's Within Topics As Posts" . Please take a look at it and confirm whether it meets your ad display criteria.
