Does this also work for ad's served by Google's adsense service as they use javascript code??

I have tried it and at the moment it is currently not displaying on my joomla pages once saved properly.

    Please help.

can you please give me your website url. If you are placing ads in a column, you should use 160x600 ad code for your website. Depending on your site background, you can choose between white or black background color.

did you make sure to disable "WYSIWYG editor" in Joomla. It should work because we have tested this on many Joomla based sites. Also, make sure you publish the module.

It actually has started to work now!!

Obviously it was just a bit slow getting started on the uptake..

Makes it heaps easier than trying to install additional things to get it working.

    Great tip and quick tutorial.

It takes some time about a day for the day in some cases to appear.. Forgot that.. Sorry

I am sorry but I can't seem to find any ad's on your site at all. The banner at the top is huge. Did you do all the steps at the top the way John had them set out and all correctly. I first had a slightly different issue and then I fixed it.

By the way who are you using to serve the ad's and what type of ad's are you using as this may also be a factor in why they aren't displaying properly.

something is wrong with either our ad server or the way Google is delivering Ads. I will have to look into this and find some kind of solution. As for the ads on your site, please use 160x600 ad code on your site. The auto ads were still on your website and I have turned them off. Please follow the step above for Joomla and use the ad code 160x600 (white or black background) for your website.

My site uses ad's on my joomla based cms without any problems whatsoever see http://www.wired.profusehost.net/joomla/

I believe it might have something to do with the way that you applied the ad in the modules section in joomla backend.

Did you apply the module you created with the ad code to be displayed on all pages and which code are you using. Please show me the code in case you have entered it incorrectly.
