Some advice for profusehost

First, I think you should change the theme of this forum. It will make the forum nicer, friendly... How do you think about it? Please give your opinion

I rather like the black and orange thing they had going before. This blue does look nice, but it also looks exactly the same as 95% of all forums everywhere.

we are trying to cut cost right now. Our goal is to make sure we can pay for bandwidth/server cost/staff and keep Profuse Host alive.

I was writing a long ago to change the Orange theme, as it was there for a long time and now I feels that the Orange one was better. If possible, please bring it back.

Also, the quality of posts are getting degraded as naives mentioned. We must figure out some way to overcome this. Shall the minimum length of posts be increased to 100 words or so?

The minimum character count has now been raised to 300 from the early 100. What do you think of it. Though its a bit hard to post that much characters in some replies(Sometimes its useless too), I have a feeling that it will increase the quality of posts in the forum. Its just my personal opinion. What do you all think?

I think 300 character posts is kind of a lot...even 100 was difficult sometimes. Some times you want to make a comment about a topic but you don't have a lot to say. Should we not be allowed to speak at all unless we ramble on? This will make it more difficult and time consuming to get the 15 posts a month in.

300 is fat too high. But long back the minimum character count was 300 and the post for host users have to make 30 posts a month. Considering that i think this is Okay now. But it would be better if character count is reduced to some 150 or so. But just by increasing the number of characters would not do any good for the quality of the forum.
