    Default Forum Pruning

I think the forum should be pruned once in a while to get rid of ancient topics. I see topics that are from way back to 2003!

we don't prune threads but we are considering pruning posts. Now all posts and threads will go through admin moderations before they are made public.

Um. I didn't really mean for that to happen. It's a good idea anyways that posts go through admin moderations before coming public. That will decrease the number of spam posts!

    Default Can't post

Actually, I do not think its a good idea because all the posts I have tried to made never really got to get posted. I think I tried to post 5 times and they all got rejected.

Posts with comments that provide no information or solution are not approved. For example --

"Yes, i love this game. It is a nice game and I can't wait for the new one to come out"
"Xbox is a nice game console and I am sure ps3 can't compete with it"
We don't want our forum to have spam related posts. Therefore, please don't make posts if you don't have anything to provide (solution, tips, tutorial etc).

I still don't really get it. So if you say
"PS3 is a hardcore system" it's considered spam?
"PS3 is supposed to drop down in price by May 2007" not considered spam?
Since the first post was mainly opinion, it is spam right?

Opinions that don't mention why something is good is considered spam. Opinions that provide information of why something is amazing and why it stands out is not considered spam. Also, posts that are only 1 sentence long are not approved.
