    Default Word Limit

How about we just make it so that you can make a post that is under 100 characters, but that would not count towards your hosting requirements, but over 100 would?

It just seems to me that after reading many of the posts in these forums some of the replies are strained. Admittedly not all, not even most, but some replies really just don't need to be that long, and forcing them to be does not help with free-flowing conversation in any way.

Well, it's just a thought, maybe it's not doable. I just though I'd suggest it.

Oh yes. I do realize there is a similar topic, but this idea isn't really the same, so I thought I'd start a new topic rather than necropost.

We only have one option in the forum control panel, which is "Minimum Characters Per Post". I'll go ahead and lower it to 50 and see if that helps.
