HI Guys, We all know that we need quality images for a webpage & we grab it from the internet. I am sharing my knowledge of from where i get images & i hope you would share the same. I download from - http://www.office.microsoft.com http://www.google.com http://www.freeimages.co.uk http://www.freedigitalphotos.net that's all i use to download images for my site. Can you mention more search engines for images that are free Please post only free ones because i have no plans for buying images. Thanks in advance & have a great day

Well I don't know that many image search engines, but I found this awesome site that has zillions of resources and links to sites that provide them. http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/bluevertigo.htm The best one that I always use is Image Exchng You have to scroll to the side it has a huge menu and bunch of links there too. I very much like the design of it too and the links to stock images I usually look for pixel patterns for my site design and stuff, but this one has it all. Hope it'll come handy^^

Google is your best bet for images, but if your a web designer like some of us thats using this great host, you'll probably find an image you like and then you would have to corp it out which is very frustrating and hard to do. Anyways lets get back on topic, when I'm in need of a picture for a website design i usually use planetrenders, what's the link? don't be lazy just search on google and click the frist link, cuz i'm not sure if were allowed to post links. Basically your best bet is google.ca my friend Enjoy

I usually go to Google and just search for a "Image Search Engine" but I noticed that someone posted a BlueVertigo site. I use as well but some of the sites that it provides actually want you to pay to get the images. I suggest flickr and maybe photobucket you can find some pictures there too because they added a tag feature and search engine to their site. Good luck. ![]()

I am also using google for image search and its fast and the contents are upto what we want. I had also tried my hand at msn live, it so appear to be good as far i am concerned. The live one with a more pretty look and seems to more interesting than the live one. But for contents google is best i think. I haven't used any other image search engines and so i can't be sure about all other. But i put my money on google.

the biggest problem with google is the indexing of files is not accurate because if you search for toys you get images of porn images & also "sex" toys. which may be not that easy when some one else is sitting close & watching what he or she is searching IMAGES on the screen.
