| My PS3's audio just stopped working somehow... I turned it on and nothing, no startup sound, and I can't listen to any of my music. this has happened before, but I took the disk out and it was fine, however this time, I didn't even have a disk in to begin with. I tried turning it off and then back on a couple times and still no luck...so please, what should I do? I'm using standard AV-cables(Red, White, and Yellow), and they've worked perfectly fine until now... |

| The first thing I would check is the cables. Make sure they are firmly connected at both ends. If they are, then I would try another source. Plug in a DVD player to the TV or plug the PS3 into another TV and see if it works there. The only other solution I can think of is to clean the disks and the heads on the PS3. |
