Tokyo Drift Help ps2?

Tokyo drift help ps2? first of all my disc is a bit messed up when i play it it freezes during a loading screen only on one certain race type the one by Mitsubishi dealer when i enter it it just stops loading when i check the disc its in good condition and my ps2 is brand new i just bought the slim kind, anyways i done all of the races that are available and it says i beat all the crews but since that certain race freezes are there any other ones i can do besides roll ups? i need to make some progress in it but cant since it freezes during loading screen so any thoughts? id love to hear em thanks.
