Default We no longer allow package changes

We recently upgraded our client panel and it seems we can no longer make changes to the packages. For example, clients are no longer allowed to change package from "free web hosting with 200 MB" to "free web hosting with 2 GB" or "post for host". We don't know if that feature will be enabled in the future but for now clients don't have the option to have their packages changed.

UPDATE: after the recent update, the programmers have fixed the issue and we can make changes to accounts now. If you wish to have your package changed, please refer to the following url - http://www.profusehost.net/forum/acc...ting-plan.html

Oh damn,

I have been looking at some sites hosted at profusehost.net and I was thinking of changing to "post for host", because of the ads that we have to use...

Is there a code so we can place them wherever we want?

Default I think this change has impact to my account

Dear John,
I think this changes also impacting to my account. (I have submit ticket GXM-574952). As I am remember, first time I am register I choose 1GB free webhosting with ads (at that moment, there are no package post for host or 200MB w/o ads). and since then I am always put profuse ads on my site (please see ticket RII-360660 where my account suspended due to ads misplacement). then on Dec 2007, you announced that profuse upgrade all web hosting to 2GB, I got that upgrade too automatically.

Now my account suspended, and saying my package is profuse_basic_no_ads

Need your help, so my account can activated again
Thank you very much.

ps: sorry, if I complain not in support forum.

Seems like the sort of package you get at the beginning is no longer available. I am not sure about the Cpanel Administration (WHM) permissions are on your side (John) but as far as I know there must be a feature to upgrade and downgrade accounts.

Oh.... No woder I couldn't get my package changed.
I was wondering what will happen if I'm on the "post to host" package but I didn't meet the required number of posts?
Will my account then be downgraded to "host with ad" or will my package just be terminated?
I'm on "post to host" package currently, but I don't think I'll be able to make 30 posts on the forum every month....

it seems my account was suspended not by this upgrade, but rather by my old blogging script.... bmachine it seems dying, and no update by the author. I was thinking to migrate into wordpress.

thanks you for your response

Well its a complicated process since we don't have the option to change packages anymore.

1. We generate the backup of your sites
2. You submit a cancellation request
3. We terminate your accounts
4. You sign up again and we approve your account
5. Once approved, we restore your files

Please keep in mind, this whole process can take anywhere from 48-72 hours since we have to wait for your reply and wait for you to submit another application. I also recommend that you delete any useless files from your accounts before we perform site backup of your sites.

Its more than 3 months after the last post in this thread. So, I'd like to know whether you are allowing package changes now....

I saw a post in the support section asking for package change and John told to submit a support request. I also want to change my package.

Please reply...

With regards,
Tvm.
