Wake up? People never wake up unless it directly impact their day to day life. People are going to continue on, thinking they won't be overheard, because they're good people. This is because people, are idiots.

But, methinks that there should be a law, under which say, if a citizen is a resident of that country for the past 20 years and has no known criminal record against him/her, then he/she can not be wire tapped.
Do you guys agree with me?

No offense but that's a pretty poorly thought through law. All people would then have to do to escape detection via wiretapping, is be a resident for 20 years, and then go crazy. Plus, if they were a child and only went crazy at 22, or hell, later, they'd remain undetected. Terrible.

Okay, lets ammend my law now. Let us have an adult who has been living in the country for the past 20 years can not be wiretapped.
