The best and easiest way to clear all the history, search engine lists and be sure to leave no traces behind is CCleaner.CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. CCleaner also fixes your registry. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware.

After clicking on the "Web History" link from the Google Accounts page, click "Remove items." You'll then be in edit mode and can remove any items you don't want by checking those items and clicking the "Remove" button. There's also a link to clear your entire web history.Using the tools option on your pc doesn't erase your google history. You have to erase it in your google account.
