My apple computer is not turning off? - Chime Host

When I go to the apple button and to turn off. The computer gets that swirly thing and it stays on. The only thing that will turn it off is to unplug it and I need to know what is wrong if you know please help.

Also if it makes a difference it is one of the new apple computers also.

I don't know much about apple but you could go to an apple store and have them look at it, you may need to make a appointment to see some one.

BTW I bet at least on other answer will be either "PC Rules" or "Mac Rules!"
