    Default Why won't my monitor come on when I start my computer?

    If I push the monitor power button on and off a few times, it eventually comes on. Do I need a new monitor? The monitor is about 6 years old.

    Check the connections in the back and on the computer. When you're pushing that monitor button, it's probably jiggling some wires .
