    Question What is RealVNC

    Hi all,

    I am new here to profusehost but its nice to be here with John and all of u!

    I just wanted to ask this..If anyone knows plz answer..

    WHAT IS REALVNC? IS IT A SUBSTITUITE FOR APACHE

    No. Real VNC allows you to remotely control a computer. You can install it on a host computer and use VNC client to connect to the host computer and use it. It behaves the same way as "Remote Desktop Connection" in windows xp. You can use it to control desktop, run commands, run programs, troubleshoot etc.

    Just a tip for further questions ! Try to ask Google ;-)

    If you do not know what Realvnc is, you go to Google.com and type in "Realvnc" then Google will provide some links. So look for a manufacture or an wikipedia link and read those pages. Forums are for serious questions only!

    Oh, I think we both just mixed up the question was posted over 1 year ago in 2006 ;-) ( 12-12-2006 ) ! I think this issue is already fixed.
