Question x10hosting vs. Profuse host

hello! i am also a sbscriber of x10hosting and soon to be here at profusehost but they still ddnt approve... i was wondering, both web server has similar services offered but x10hosting only requires you to visit their forum evey once or atleast once a month, but yet who's the most or has less downtimes and is more efficient? (profusehost pls dont mind this.. i was just collecting some comments)

you can see our third party uptime stats - SiteUptime - Website Monitoring Service

we do encounter problems all the time but we do try our best to resolve them to prevent any long downtimes.

Another aspect for profusehost.net is they are the only free host I know who offer true ruby on rail ! For sure there are some others who provide ruby on rails hosting for example XZHost - Home but the difference is, xzhost.net do not provide Fast CGI like profusehost.net do. So if you may plan to start some ruby on rails development, because ruby on rails is a wonderful programming language which makes web development really easy. Just watch the screencast on their homepage !. And profusehost.net also provide a tutorial how to setup ruby on rails on their servers (written by me) located in the knowledge base, here. So I really recommend profusehost.net, also I can not make any clear reports on downtimes, cause I am new to profusehost.net as well.

I think profusehost is the best in the business. They are giving us 2gb of space just for 30 posts a month. A they got a good customer support team. They help us a lot to clarify our doubts and all. I am not going to switch into any other web hosting service for now. I am fully satisfies with profuse host.

I have been here with profusehost for more than two years and I can say you that Profusehost is the best free hosting which I came across till now. Here we have post for host as well as free hosting with ads. Also, 2GB space and 100GB bandwidth per month.

Also, the support is much better than other free hosts. I am very much satisfied with profusehost and whwnever I switch to paid hosting, I will surely choose profuse.

yeah! all of you are right. I could say profusehost is the best. I find them very approachable when it comes to technical support. And thing I like most is their, prompt action whenever they encounter problems with their servers plus a fast response time.

We are very happy to hear costumer reports like this ;-) Thank you very much for your option. Maybe others also decide to switch to profusehost.net . If you like to you can write a report, why you decided to host with profusehost.net .

It's the best free host I've come across (and I've used loads). 2gig and 100 gig of Bandwidth and support for all these things like RoR and php.
Site is slightly slow in the evening though (1 AM GMT).

Thumbs up Profusehost won a lot than X10Hosting

joseph, the easiest thing to compare is the service provided by profusehost vs x10hosting
I thing you can compare them by viewing these link

x10Hosting | Free Web Hosting Types
Free Web Hosting Services

yes, profusehost is short 500MB but there are more that profusehost won. like:
addon domain, parked domain and sub domain also mysql database and email account

but like others said, profusehost has a great and fast support, thank to John and moderators. once I also has x10hosting account but after couples of month, the service down (I dont know is it server down, server changes or ownership changes) - but after the services up again, I am no longer has access to hosting control panel and my account is rejected. after that I found this great hosting.

maybe you should let John know your site, the statistic and traffic usage every month. so he can appprove your membership.

Well, I know noone personally who is using x10 hosting, so I cannot comment on that. However, I literally just signed up for profusehost 10 minutes ago so I can't elaborate on that either. I had been planning on signing up for awhile after hearing some very positive reviews on the net, but i'm sort of picky so I was *host shopping.* Pending my approval, I do look forward to the service!
