    Default Google introduces SMS Channels

    Here is another new brand feature from Google; SMS Channels.

    It differs from other free group SMS sites, because you can receive messages from google groups or new posts from blogs on your mobile, by just adding the links.

    Its really a cool feature. But I wonder why they are using an ordinary phone number to send the SMS and how could they do that in bulk? Other services like smsgupshup uses SMS gateways. Any way, messaging to google sms channels costs just the charge of a national sms, while to others costs much more...

    I now really love using it as the messages arrive on time.

    Please post about that google sms channel that you are talking about. Is it free or will it cost something. I looked for this and did not find any info on the subject. Please mention whether it is available in all countries. If not, which countries are included in this service. Thanks in advance.

    Google SMS channel is a free group SMS service by Google. Its availiable in India now and still bete testing in the Google labs. With it, you can make sms groups and receive new posts from feeds and google groups in your mobile as SMS.

    Its fully free... No need of spending even a single penny. Are you astonished? Its google ya; they always astonish us and the better thing is that there aren't any ads in the messages...
