    Default Best FTP?

So which do you think is the best FTP?And why do you think it is best and good?
    Tell us..
Well i think the best FTP is FireFTP.It's an extension for Firefox which is am FTP.
It is very good FTP and has many features like connection reconnect.
It can even transfer files which were left are disconnection.
Plus it's only about 128 KB in size and does not affect your browsing speed.
It opens in a tab in firefox. You can easily surf the internet while using it.
It also has CHMOD enable so you can CHMOD your files.
It can be found here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/684

There is nothing as good as the fireftp extension for firefox. But if you would like to pay for a good ftp software, try ws_ftp. Basically, fireftp should do everything you want from an ftp software but if you like paying money for things that are already free, here is the ws_ftp website www.ipswitch.com

I like a program called SmartFTP. It is free for private use, and does almost everything that cuteFTP does, and it is free.

I too choose CoreFTP lite. Its free for private and educational purposes. I tried fireFTP. It looked like a mess for me since I am using CoreFTP with a good user friendly interface...

There are definitely a lot of FTP programs out there nowadays. I've gone through most of 'em - AceFTP, CuteFTP, FreshFTP, and now SmartFTP - and since SmartFTP is the one I'm using now, I'm gonna say it's the best so far. I'm yet to try that FireFTP though - I should give that a shot. Of course, there's always just using Windows Explorer - it's easier for those people that like to pretend their FTP server is just another drive. (Which is actually kinda convenient...)

    hi
why you don't try filezila ftp program. it is free , and very powerfull. I had never problem with it. I tried already ws ftp; smart ftp, and some others, but I got always problems withouy knowing wher does it come,

for some of the other suggested programs, I don't have enough experience, but I would rather to suggest first start with a free ftp program, and then you will know what is exactly your expectations from a purchasable ftp program; success.

    you may have it here

coreftp is what most users would use it gives fast and free access to your website's ftp in seconds and it is easy to use and add files.

That is what I recommend and it's free and uploads your files create new directories fast when you need it.

I've used cuteftp in the past and found it to be pretty good but now I use filezilla for FTP which is now what I always use for ftp. It's so well featured and i's really easy to use and best of all, it's free and open-source.

its always better to use CUTEFTP because of its reliability & also WS FTP is another option that would be also fine.

but i use CUTEFTP & very good performance

try it out FTP GlobalSCAPE - Secure FTP Server and FTP Client Software
