hi..did some research for you. found out a few you could use. i, personally use joomla, so the css editing is done online itself.

notepad is one and smart solution but only expert can handle this much. i prefer to use some free web editor that can do the same as css editor. if you use macromedia dreamweaver, try to find extension that enable to you to edit css more than its default (but with more cost).
but css editor is really good solution. try it!![]()
I use a built-in CSS editor in my HTML editor, NVU. It's very free and NVU is one of the best freeware html editors I used. Opps, I got a bit off-topic.
nothing, thanks for share information with us. but NVU is not winME or older application, therefore i'd prefer to use another than NVU. is there any css editor who can used with browser in same time?
evrsoft does everything editing; php, javascript, html, css, cold fusion, dhtml, xml, and has references for each.

HTML-Kit is a nifty program that allows you to edit code in color. It also has a preview tab that you can click to see a preview of what your code will create. I use it for pretty much everything (HTML files, PHP files, CSS files, etc.)
flickall, dreamweaver is the best editor for anything on the web (why else will google give macromedia.com a pagerank of 10). when you type css in dreamweaver, segments of your code are given different colors and you can know if you have made an error. also, there's also the the code suggestion menu that pops up as you are typing a code and you select your desired code just by pressing enter (this works just like spelling suggestion in microsoft word), hence you spend less time typing code. you can also debug your css code when you are thru.
I can see from all your posts that you are a css newbie. I learnt css using dreamweaver, i just read the manual, learnt how to use css in the program, and constantly checked my code while working. since i was already familiar with html, i was memorizing css code unconsciously while going through my codes after setting them using the dreamweaver interface. you can also try that. Now, i can write css styles without using dreamweaver.
check out my site www.pixieconcepts.com, the flash movies were positioned in div tags embedded in other div tags (i'm thinking of changing it though, its looks balmy in IE - the webmaster's nemesis)
I recomended you using MS. Office Frontpage
i just using thre software for my css editor.....
is so simple and easy
