guys my pc config is p4 2.26 GHZ,512mb ddr1 ram, 128 mb nvidia geforce mx 4000 agp. can I run the game 'farcry' ?if not what i have to upgrade.surely i'm not changing my p4.i can upgrade ram and agp.

Most likely, no. I think Far Cry requires DirectX 9.0, which your GeForce 4000 series card doesn't have. I think the GeForce 4000 only supports DirectX 8.

The P4 will be enough. The Graphic Card, however, is not. You'll have to upgrade that.

I try it but, to run it, you need a realy powerfull computer. You can buy, like more ram.. and all what you need,so it gona cost you less then buy a new computer

Do not listen to the above post. You do not need to have a really powerful computer to play the original Far Cry. You could get a new computer for around $200 that could run the original Far Cry game well. A single core 3 Ghz processor, 1gb of RAM and a 256 mb Graphics card should get you what you want.

2,4GHz P4 is enough.

I'd agree on the 256 mb GFX card though. CryEngine is rather heavy on it.
