Top Google search queries in 2008

Has anyone seen the statistics of Google search queries in 2008? Here it is: Google Zeitgeist 2008

The fact is that Google itself provide it and many are not aware. They provide country wise top queries too...

I wonder why the queries in both Google and Yahoo entirely different. The similarities comes with a few like Obama. Does this shows the attitude of people using different search engines?

I somehow doubt this is true, as there is not one result regarding pornography, which if I remember correctly is about half of the internet. To think that that wouldn't make the top searched list is somewhat odd.

I think the results is with some safe search ON, or so. There is no way for result regarding pornography not to appear in the top results...

And then I lose my little faith in humanity that I still had left...

On serious note, all the searches seem to be pretty pointless and most of them even stupid.
And yeah, with porn must have been filtered out, since that's been in the top 10 for like as long as Google exists.
