Should i get a PS3 steering wheel controller?

Im thinking about getting a steering wheel controller for my ps3, i've seen one which is preety cheap, but is separate and isn't with a seat or anything. So do you just put it on your lap or can it clip onto something? and does it really add to the experience?

You just put it in your lap, yes. I don't own one, but I've used one, and honestly rather than adding to the experience I just find them annoying.

I'd buy a wheel and pedals. Attach the wheel to a table and you're good to go. It's great fun.
