    Default PS3 & Vizio Question?

    OK, well I have a 26 inch Vizio and last week my cousin bought his PS3 and we decided to connect my HDMI cable to it to see how clear the graphics cause I'm getting a PS3 this weekend . Well when we plugged it in and turned it on, it showed 1080p FHD and my TV only goes up to 1080i so I was wondering if it was close to full HD or not and what dose it mean?

    Your TV only goes to 1080i? Are you sure? 1080i means not HD, 1080p is HD. Are you sure on that, because if your TV only reaches 1080i, but your PS3 says it's using 1080p, then technically you shouldn't be seeing a display, or at least a correct one.
