    Default Jewelry made of wood

I find wooden jewelry interesting. Here is a pendant made of a slice of an apple tree:

    What do you think?

That is actually quite pretty, it just needs to look a bit less like, well, wood I guess.

Its becoming fashion now. I often see my classmates wearing wooden ear rings. It looks pretty and sometimes awkward(with big ones which look like drums).

I find all large ear rings to look awkward personally, maybe that's just me though.

Looks very, very cheap. If I'd be a girl, I wouldn't even wear it if I'd get paid. It's sort of yelling "Hey guys, I'm cheap and don't have any decent jewelry!"

    Nope, doomed to fail..

LOL...I suppose wood is a lot cheaper than silver or gold...but it looks better than those hemp necklaces that were fashionable when I was in school back in the 90s.

Yes,it's much cheaper than other materials used for jewelries.I had a collection of wood accessories like necklaces, bracelet, belt and more other stylistic stuff. It's creative to pair it with your everyday fashion.

My husband has a wooden belt buckle he made himself which is pretty cool. You can do nice things with wood, but most jewelry would definitely be better in silver or gold.
