Oh great, so now we're going to have a twitter/myspace hybrid. These social networking sites just get better and better.
facebook should change its privacy policy.users should get more rights on the contents they provide.and sharing should be introduced.we cant share a fil in facebook.have to use yahoo or msn messenger to share something.
Might be slightly off-topic, but I heard you can't delete a facebook account. So basically, once you've made it, it's there and just can't be taken offline. Is that true? It's one of the main things holding me back of making one.
Jace, this bothered me a lot as well when I tried to delete my account last year and found I could only deactivate it. Facebook still kept all my information. But recently the government of Canada was looking into this, because apparently it is against privacy laws for Facebook to hold onto individual's information. During the time this was in the news I found a link to a page where I could delete my account for real...so I did because I am SICK of Facebook, it's a real time-waster.
Is my account really gone? I don't know. When I try to sign in, it doesn't work, so I assume it worked, but who knows? I don't trust Facebook at all myself.
I believe the facebook privacy settings are also considered mods in the programming of the site. The way we are accessed by other members and companies is one that will apparently give protection to a client account holder.
THats awesome sweet!! Were going to have an awesome twitter hybrid. Yea they will need to revise there privacy settings I am uncomfortable with them.. I want other people that I do not know to know nothing about me.
