Default Chinese government anti hacker law

The chinese government is going to introduce new cyber laws which will be used against hackers. According to the news reports hackers may face upto seven years in prison. The number of hackers in china is growing rapidly. We all can hope that this new law will deter the hackers. For example, more than 20,000 online gaming accounts with a market value of around 200,000 yuan (29,200 dollars) are stolen every day in the central province of Hunan alone, according to official figures.

There must be strict laws against hackers or so called crackers. (the word hacker is now sometimes used as a positive word). Not only in china, but in all parts of the world, e-crimes are increasing.

This laws will make the internet a better place to hangout, I think. But I don't think there a coordinated system in all countries. If some one in some other country do something to my account, What I should do??

Sorry to be pedantic, but the word hacker actually ORIGINATED as a positive word, at the start, hacker just meant computer programmer. Not sure when that changed, but yeah.

Also, I don't really think that hackers who just hack for fun, and don't actually do anything in the server, or collect any information, just challenging themselves, are fine. They aren't harming me, just having fun.

    Default hackers are nasty

every country should have a hacker law. they should be punished as strictly as possible. people get frightened while surfing. and it's bad for the economy. sometimes a good and trustable online shop gets low customers because of these hackers.

Pretty good news I guess... Especially for a country in which 'the government is always watching you"
