Default Converint Parallel Pirnter to USB

Is there any way to convert a parallel port printed to USB printer. Some kind of extra box which converts the Parallel port to USB. Any ideas??

Why need for that? Don't your system have a parallel port? If not, you can just by an addon PCI card for that.

I have heard of only USB to parallel converters, but not Parallel to USB.

wait, i don't get it, it sounds like you have a parallel port on your pc and a usb on your printer... don't you have any usb ports on your computer? if not, just Google search it, you can pick one up for about 20 dollars.

I have seen some IDE to USB ports. I have also seen some parallel to USB ports in India. You will get them for around 700 INR.

Yes. You buy the adapter (any other term is technically incorrect) and use it.

I'm sure they exist, but they're not very mainstream.

Only way to get it will be via Internet I think. Google something like parallel Printer to USB. You might be able to find it..
