Default What's your systems hardware configuration?

Here at profuse community, we have people from all over the world. So, I would like to know about the system configurations at different places, just for a hobby survey.

So please reply with your system configuration and also the high end Personal Computer configuration you have seen..

Please specify atleast the processor speed, RAM, HDD capacity, type of monitor.

At the moment I've got:

E8400 Wofldale @ 4GHz
Asus Maximus Formula X38. Flashed to Rampage Formula (since X48 is identical to X38. It just has official support for FSB of 1600MHz. Which X38 can do to of course, since it the exact same chip).
Corsair Dominator RAM. 4GB. Clock is 1000 < x < 1100 MHz. Can't be botherd to do CPU-Z now for this..
OCZ 850 Watt GameXtream PSU
Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
XFX nVidia 9800 GTX 675M. Overclocked to 785 MHz.
WD RE II 500 GB HDD. WD 2TB should arrive this month. WD is going to release it this week if I'm not mistaken.
In a CM Stacker 832

Mind you, the 9800GTX wasn't as cheap when I bought it as it's now. These days you can get it for 200 USD. I bought the card for 400 USD. Would do SLI, but Intel chipsets (which actually are better than the ones of nVidia for overclocking. Their X serie at least is) only support CF ): ATi is not an option. nVidia only.

Then of course you still have speakers, monitor, keyboard, mouse.
All in all it cost me a little less than 3000 USD. (that's from Euro to USD.)

Upgrading to GT300 when it comes (Q3 of Q4 if I'm not mistaken). I can run Crysis Warhead at maximum at 1680 x 1050 by the way. That's without AA. But to be honest, it AA doesn't really matter in Crysis. Probably due to the resolution and the particle effect. Even comparing with and without AA I can't really see a difference. Guess CryEngine 2 doesn't really need it all that much, unlike Source engine, that just looks awefull without FSAA and AF.
Crysis can't run at max though. Shadows need to be set to high, not very high.
DX10 of course.

That's somewhat extreme PC configuration. Great one for a extreme gamer.

I am not much interested in gaming and I have a PC, which is now 3 years old.

P4 processor - 2.4GHz, Intel original 845GVSR Motherboard, 512MB DDR RAM, 80GB Samsung HDD. No extra graphics card. Just a dial up modem, and a 17 inch CRT monitor.

3 years before, it costs 24000INR( around 530USD), with 256MB RAM.

That make a real difference with the different parts in the world. Here, in India, we still buy just a 160GB or 250GB HDD, with a new PC itself and in other countries people have HDDs of TB capacity.

Anyway, what country are you from Jace?

Ok here we go:

Motherboard: J&W (don't expect you to know them, I didn't) RX770+.
Processor: AMD Phenom X3 8450 (2.1 GHz).
RAM: 2gb DDR2 800MHz (I will have 4 in about a week and I don't know the brand).
Graphics Card: Palit ATi Radeon 4870 1gb sonic dual edition (factory overclocked).
Hard Drive: 500 Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 RPM

AMD Athlon 3000+ ;_ ; bad memories, bad, bad memories of trying to run new game with that. I'm sure it may fit your needs, but it just annoyed me to no end ;_ ;
