First time using this so here we go....
I have a Netgear wireless router (DG834GT) and two PCs running on a home network (both XP). The network works fine and we share files etc.
I've bought a network printer (Samsung SCX-4725FN) that I've connected to the router. I installed the software and I can print from both PCs via the network.
If I switch my main PC off and back on again, printing won't work from either PC. The print queue says the printer is not connected. If I remove and re-install the software, it works again.
Question 1: Do I need to have my main PC switched on to print from the second PC? I presume not as surely that's what the network is for - otherwise I might as well have the printer connected via USB and share the printer when the PC is switched on
Question 2: What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help?
Regards, Colin
