The pen drive may be damaged. So go the nearest service center and inquire. If it has warranty you can have it replaced. And ask them to recover the data if we have anything important. May be they can recover it for you.

Perhaps windows didn't correctly install drivers for it.

Go into device manager and remove the drivers for it, then reinsert it and let windoze install the necessary files.

    I agree with Heritagerail.

This is most likely a cause for your issue!

Yes, that is exactly what I said. There's no need to copy it out word for word. It's just a waste of your time, given that my post will probably get read first.

Do you get any error messages when you plug in the USB pen drive? What OS are you using? I had problems accessing USB drives on Windows XP 64 bit.
Is it a normal pen drive? Sometimes, USB drives need an external source of power.

maybe your usb driver is not updated.or maybe your usb slot is corrupted.Maybe you pen drive needs more power than the slot is supplying now.try it on another pc and then contact the retailer.your pc is older?

This thread is old and inactive as the thread author has only made one post on this board and not responded to this thread at all! :P

Can someone please remove this annoying flood control for certain users- It is quite annoying.
