Share your story! Post a video on YouTube about an item you won on Bidtopia! Some examples could be showing a great bargain, most unique and unusual item, or how the item you purchased was used in a unique way. Be creative and witty! Show how much money you can save with Bidtopia.

Previous unusual uses include a customer who purchased coffin rods and used them to hang curtains and a customer who purchased foam beds and attached them to his walls to soundproof a home recording studio.

Blog Contest

Share your story! Blog about the best deals you received on Bidtopia. Write about how much money you saved, what items you’ve seen on the site, and what items you’re looking forward to this holiday season.

Two GRAND PRIZES will be awarded on December 7:

• The video with the most recorded views on YouTube and the most creative will receive $1000 in store credit on Bidtopia.com.

• The Bidtopia creative staff will vote for their favorite blog and award $250 in store credit on Bidtopia.com.

How to enter:

Record and post on YouTube or a Blog of the contest specification above.

Once you’ve posted the video or blog, send an email to TheBigDeal@Bidtopia.com with the following information:

• Video must fit within YouTube guidelines.

• Multiple videos and blogs can be submitted by the same person, but each video and blog must feature different products and/or ideas.

• Bidtopia is not affiliated in any way with YouTube or its affiliates. The views expressed by the participants in these video or blog submissions do not reflect the views of Bidtopia, its employees or affiliates.

• Minors may not be included in these videos without express written permission from parents or guardians. Participants are solely responsible for obtaining such permission and must provide copies to Bidtopia upon request.

• Bidtopia is not responsible for exposure to other YouTube content.

• Bidtopia must be notified in order for a video or blog to be tracked. Bidtopia will acknowledge all submissions within 72 hours.

• All videos must be new. Any videos or blogs posted prior to November 1, 2009, the start date of the contest, are not eligible for entry.

• Failure to comply with stated rules could result in disqualification.

• Winners will be notified via email and will then be announced on the Bidtopia website.

• Original videos and blogs must be submitted. Submissions will become the property of Bidtopia. By entering this contest, contestants acknowledge Bidtopia's ownership of all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the submitted videos and blogs, and Bidtopia’s right to utilize submitted videos and blogs, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including publicity and advertising, without compensation.
