Default My iPod Mini's battery is giving up. If I send it to apple to be replaced, would they send me a

Nano? According to the website, they won't necessarily send me another of the same iPod, but one of similar memory... My warranty has run out, so I either pay £49 for in-store replacement, £69 for online replacement to save my engravement, or £15 to buy a battery online and do it myself... If I get a NaNo for my money, I wouldn't mind.. But if not I might as well do it myself. Does anyone know?I'm almost sure that they won't just replace my battery, as if you want to keep your engraving, they add an extra two weeks onto the estimated time, and you have to use the online shop... I'm going to ask in store tomorrow, but knowing apple, I will get a very roundabout answer that convinces me to give them money, but doesn't answer my question.

I'd try contacting Apple's helpdesk and ask them what they do in these cases. At least then you can be sure what you're doing. It's always better getting 'the pro's' to do it then messing around with stuff yourself.

Batterie replacement is not that difficult! For more information visit the following homepage ! . I would do the replacement for you, but I live in germany so shipping is going to be too expensive !
