Default What is another program besides Itunes?

Are there any other programs besides Itunes that you can download music to your Ipod? I have had ITunes for ahwile now.. and its not bad.. but my computer crashed and I didnt have all the music backed up.. so I lost about 100 songs and they would not let me get them back which I think is riduculous since I paid for them! So I was just wondering if there were any other programs that you would recommend? Thanks

Geez... try using Limewire, a p2p software to download songs.Get it at: www.limewire.com It's free and "clean" with no spyware and such.

First, this isn't really the right category for this question. Bus as long as I saw it, yes there are several. I use the Ipod Music liberator, which moves songs from the Ipod to a computer, something that Itunes won't do, and yamipod, which can copy both ways. Both are free downloads. If you don't like these, others are available, but I find they do what I need.

Napster! They give you 3 free redownloads, and their format is a format you can put on any disk, or you can change the format.I did not like i-tunes. I either had to buy an Ipod, or be a slave to my computer. I want to hear them in 5:1 on a 130 w per channel receiver. MP4 sucks, though they do have programs now that will break it.I cant get over the fact they think just because you bought a song doesn't make it yoursI paid for it, it belongs to me! I can get all kinds of software overseas that will break anything!
