That link kinda gave me the feeling that OSX (leopard) can't be bought as retail or OEM, or am I just misunderstanding stuff.
If you can just buy it you could emulate it or make a new partition on your HDD.

I believe that you first need to go to the Apple site and become an Apple Developer and then download a prefatched copy of Mac OSX available probably as a torrent file, search google and then download it and it might just work....

I believe if you do it this way it is legal but you should if you want to make sure choose the developer package that you pay for in which you get a beta version of the newest release and that might work.

Otherwise I am not sure. You might be able to emulate or virtualise your mac onto xp but not entirely sure how to do it. Sorry.

Have a look on the Apple Developer site as that is probably your best bet, free to sign up.

Oh, Apple just said that Leopard will be released on the 26th of October. It will be availible official apple resellers and their online store. It's possible to make a pre-order now.

It's only possible to use it on Macs though. 1 of the reasons being that your laptop uses a BIOS, not EFI. And some other protection things. And HAL.

well the simple answer is you cannot. you cant emulate it or anything. u can however emulate windows on your mac with virtual pc.

there is no way that i know of to run mac on windows properly.

You can emulate windows, but forget about the idea of that enabling you to play games. It will be far too slow.

OSX has actually been cracked to work on Windows. THW actually had a link, but since I am not really interested I never saved it.

But first ask yourself this: "what can OSX do what I can't on a PC" and "what can a PC do what I can't do when running OSX". Now I'm quite pro-windows, but I think it's the best you can get there at the moment.
Mac's are more gadget like then computer like actually. It's a little hype that will come and go if you ask me.

First of all, to be more specific you look for MAC OS X86 (that is the code name, just google for it and you will find what you need).

But MAC OS X86 is illegal. Apple do not allow MAC OS X (any version) to run on an non Apple computer. So Apple has the ability to sue you, because installing MAC OS X86 is a crime. Therefore I recommend to close this thread.

    About MAC OS X86
there is no official support, maybe sound work, or it does not, maybe one day the keyboard works, then you do some update and it does not work any longer. MAC OS X86 is unstable, insecure, it is no real MAC OS because some people with minor MAC OS X experiences changed the code to run on any X86 system.

I am not going to answer any further questions about MAC OS X86 !
